What are your service areas & hours of operation?

We are pleased to serve a broad area, including Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Thornhill, Aurora, Newmarket, Oak Ridges, Markham, North York, and their surrounding regions. If you are located outside of our primary service areas, please do not hesitate to contact our team, and we would be delighted to assist you. Our hours of operation are from Monday to Sunday from 9am-9pm.

How do you determine pricing for your services?

Our pricing is based on the volume of space your items occupy in the back of our compactor bin & the time required for loading. Curbside pickups (and also driveway & garage pickups) offer the best pricing as their load time is very minimal. Our minimum pickup pricing starts at just $58.99 - the most affordable in the GTA, especially from a fully insured & certified company! We offer transparent and upfront pricing before commencing any work to ensure there are no unexpected costs. Please contact us to discuss the specifics of your project.

How can I pay for garbage/junk removal?

We accept all major credit cards. Once the job is complete, you'll receive an invoice by email or text, allowing you to pay securely and conveniently. We also accept e-Transfer payments. No payment is required until the work is complete.

What items do you not take?

At Garbage Junkies, we haul away almost anything — from household junk to commercial waste. However, for safety and environmental compliance, there are a few items we cannot accept, including: Hazardous materials (e.g. batteries, paint, chemicals, contaminated liquids, asbestos, biological or bio-hazardous waste, medical waste, sharps/syringes, explosives, ammunition). Flammable substances (e.g. gasoline, propane tanks). Special Handling Items: Empty paint cans (with lids removed & dry paint) are accepted. Tires (off-rim only) can be taken for an additional $25 per tire to cover disposal surcharges at the transfer station. At this time, we are not taking large appliances (we will take small appliances such as microwaves, BBQ's etc), heavy construction debris (ie. concrete/bricks) and soil.
